She has built a long career in broadcast journalism, working in New York before moving to Philadelphia. In 2026, she continues to serve as a prominent morning and noon anchor at CBS Philadelphia.
One of the most searched questions about her career is Janelle Burrell salary. However, her exact annual salary has not been publicly confirmed by CBS or by Burrell herself. This article covers Janelle Burrell’s career, education, professional background, current role, salary information, and other important biography details.
Janelle Burrell Salary in 2026
There is no reliable public source that confirms Janelle Burrell’s exact salary in 2026. CBS Philadelphia publicly identifies her as an Emmy Award-winning journalist and co-anchor of CBS News Philadelphia Mornings, but it does not publish her compensation.
Some websites publish estimated salaries for local television anchors. These numbers can vary widely because they may be based on industry averages, job titles, market size, experience, or automated estimates. They should not be presented as Burrell’s confirmed earnings.
Her long experience in television journalism and her position at a major CBS-owned station are relevant factors when discussing her professional earning potential. Still, without a disclosed contract or authoritative salary record, giving one exact figure would be misleading.
